Another wave of goodbyes after former Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill announced his retirement at the age of 36. The
former England international also played for Aston Villa, Bolton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth have confirmed his retirement via social media

Cahill began his career at Aston Villa but only played 31 games in four years, including being on loan at Burnley. and Sheffield United
. He became a regular in the Premier League when he joined Bolton in 2008, before going on to make 147 appearances and earning his first England call-up in 2010
. Impressive, Cahill moved to Chelsea in January 2012 for a fee of around £7 million, before making 290 appearances and winning the Champions League in his first season. This was followed by the Premier League title in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.
He left Chelsea in 2019 before spending another two seasons at Palace and played last season at Bournemouth, helping them to promotion to the Premier League
. Le has not featured in the final four months with Bournemouth, with his red card against Barnsley on 29 January being his last appearance.
On Tuesday, former Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon also announced his retirement.
